Decentralized cooperation to strengthen our local communities

A workshop of stakeholders of the decentralized cooperation in Haiti gathered at the Ritz Kinam II Hotel on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Under the auspices of the he French Action Group for the Environment (GAFE in French), individuals representing diverse sectors participated in the workshop including NGOs, public sector managers, local elected officials, and university professors.

One hundred participants representing Haitian and foreign local authorities, civil society, donors, and government departments responded to GAFE’s call to reflect and redirect their concerted action to strengthen local communities.
