The month of October presents its mix of bright and less favorable aspects.
On October 9, the Haitian government received news that, in response to a request from an opposition political party, the High Court of Nairobi decided to temporarily halt the deployment of Kenya's principal contingent in the Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti, extending until October 24.
Currently, there hasn't been a complete cancellation of Kenya's involvement in the force, but a delay is to be expected.
