Everything But a Man will premiere at American Black Film Festival

Everything But a Man, a film directed by Nnegest Likke which stars and is co-produced by one of Haiti’s very own Jimmy Jean- Louis will premiere at the American Black Film Festival and is up for a few nominations as well. The festival will take place June 15-19 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Everything But a Man, examines how a self-made, African-American career woman falls for a struggling immigrant (from Haiti) and tries to mold him into her perfect upperclass man. His radical lifestyle differences shake up her world and challenge her perspective on love, relationships and what it means to be a 'strong' woman. Dramatic and comedic conflict ensues, along with race, class, gender, and culture clash.
