llAfter remarks from the Minister of Culture, the Aquin Solidarité Foundation, lead organizer of the event, officially opened the festival on April 2nd.
Sheila Delmas, a resident of Aquin, sang the national anthem in front of thousands of festival-goers from several locations and nearby cities. Following this performance, a local youth dance troupe performed choreographic pieces.
