Elections: Interim executive agents candidates must resign before October 15, MICT reminds

In a circular dated October 12, 2026, the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT) reminds interim executive agents wishing to participate in the upcoming elections that they must resign within seven days of the publication of the electoral decree. According to Article 388 of the said decree, the resignation deadline expires on Thursday, October 15, 2026.<\/p>
