The celebration of the half-century of the town of Arniquet was marked by a sung mass at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel parish in the town center. This ceremony, presided over by Father Jean Luxonne Casséus, took place in the presence of local authorities, other clergy members, dignitaries from the communal sections, and residents of the town.
In addition to the mass celebrated in the morning, Marie Bernadette Génois, the town's deputy mayor, stated that a conference on the history of Arniquet had been presented for educational purposes
