In light of the current crisis affecting local industries, the president of the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH), David Coles, has called for the implementation of recapitalization mechanisms tailored to the crisis, including long-term loans, accessible guarantee rates, and risk-sharing instruments, as well as exemptions for the importation of raw materials and equipment.
Speaking during the morning show on Magik9, David Coles stated that these mechanisms should allow struggling industries to continue production and facilitate the recovery of industries that have been vandalized.
