Criminal reform: Alix Didier Fils-Aimé welcomes the departure of twenty Haitian trainers to France

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé presided over a ceremony on Monday, August 31, at the Villa d'Accueil, honoring twenty Haitian trainers before their departure for France. The delegation, composed of lawyers, magistrates, and other professionals from the criminal justice chain, will undergo specialized training in France as part of the implementation of the criminal reform in Haiti, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's office. "Upon their return to Haiti, the twenty trainers will be tasked with passing on the skills acquired to other actors in the judicial chain, in order to promote a gradual and sustainable implementation of the criminal reform in the ten jurisdictions of the country," the Prime Minister's office specifies.
