The toll from Wednesday's devastating flood in Nepal has risen to 579 dead, with 1,924 people reported missing, the authority responsible for emergency management announced on Friday.<\/p>
Chinese authorities, for their part, reported 5 deaths in their territory of Tibet, bringing the provisional total toll of the disaster to at least 584 dead.<\/p>
