New BRH Board Takes Office with Focus on Consolidating Achievements

Recently appointed by an order dated August 9, 2026, the new interim Board of Directors of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH)—composed of Ronald Gabriel (Governor), Guerly Leriche (Vice Governor), Florient Jean Mari (Director General), Edwige Jean (member) and Michèle Delerme (member)—was installed on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, during a ceremony held at the Antonio André Convention and Documentation Center in downtown Port-au-Prince.

Ministers, representatives of the financial system and members of the business sector took part in the installation ceremony of the BRH’s new Board of Directors. Three members of the outgoing Board were retained on the new Board. They are Governor Ronald Gabriel, Michèle Delerme and Florian Jean-Marie. The latter moved to a higher position: Director General of the BRH.
