The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) officially announced on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the appointment of Dr. Macmy ST-Hilaire as the new director of the Health Services Organization (DOSS). A specialist in obstetrics and gynecology with a master's degree in public health from the University of Montreal, Dr. ST-Hilaire has confirmed experience in managing and organizing health services. He replaces Dr. Emmanuel Holly Ted Lazarre in this role. The ceremony was attended by the General Director of the MSPP, Dr. Gabriel Thimothé, along with several officials from the ministry and technical and financial partners.
