A Zed Airlines aircraft operating a flight from Cap-Haïtien to Port-au-Prince made a forced water landing on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the airline, the aircraft, a Cessna 402B registered HI-1056, was forced to make an emergency landing in the Lafito area. The pilot and the two passengers escaped the aircraft unharmed and were taken to the hospital, according to the company's CEO, David Jn-Charles.
