The National Solid Waste Management Service (SNGRS) officially launched its nationwide challenge, "Zòn pa m pi pwòp" ("My Area Is Cleaner"), as part of its "Zero Waste" program on June 16, 2026. Appearing on Magik 9 on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the institution's Director General, Daril Baltazar, provided an update on the project's progress.

According to Mr. Baltazar, the initiative aims to combat poor sanitation and promote better waste management across Haiti's ten departments.
