Appointed by the Port-au-Prince Court of Appeal in October 2025 to reopen the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, both procedurally and on the merits, investigating judge Jean Denis Cyprien has asked the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) to issue a wanted notice for former Court of Cassation judge Wendelle Coq Thélot, whose death had been announced in January 2025.
