From École Nationale Massillon Coicou to Brandeis University in Massachusetts, Makendi Alcé carved his path between Haiti and the United States, driven by the desire to serve through education.
Makendi Henry Alcé was born in Cap-Haïtien, the country’s second-largest city. It was there that he began his early schooling. First enrolled at the École Nationale Massillon Coicou, he continued his secondary studies at Lycée Dutty Boukman, from 7th grade through philosophy class.
