Cap-Haïtien, Like All Provincial Cities, Needs Resources, Not Official Visits

Since Monday, residents of several neighborhoods in Cap-Haïtien have been protesting to demand action from local and national authorities following rainfall and in response to the catastrophic condition of roads and drainage infrastructure.

First and foremost, the protesters are targeting the city hall, but especially the departmental branches of the various ministries that have offices in the city yet are unable to live up to their responsibilities.
