Fils-Aimé and IMF Review Haiti’s Economic and Security Priorities

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé met, this Tuesday, April 21, with leaders of the International Monetary Fund in Washington to discuss the ongoing economic program, security challenges, and reform priorities in Haiti. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the IMF acknowledged the efforts made by the Haitian government in terms of budget management, despite the turbulence.

“The IMF welcomed the progress achieved in the management of public finances, notably the maintenance of reserves deem
