Relations between Haiti and the Dominican Republic Thaw

Frozen since September 2023, following the decision by actors of Haitian civil society to dig a canal to capture part of the water from the Massacre River, relations between Haiti and the Dominican Republic were to deteriorate completely in March 2024 when Dominican authorities refused landing to a plane carrying the then Haitian Prime Minister, Ariel Henry.
