The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship (MAEC) and the Embassy of Taiwan in Haiti organized, on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Karibe Hotel, a cocktail reception to celebrate 70 years of relations between the two countries. The short and solemn ceremony, yet rich in symbolism, was held in the presence of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, Minister of Foreign Affairs Raina Forbin, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Haiti Cheng-Hao Hu, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
