The Dominican Republic is consolidating its position as a higher education destination in the region. According to data from the Dominican Central Bank (Banco Central de la República Dominicana – BCRD), cited in an article published by the Dominican online media outlet Acento, the neighboring country has 2,250 foreign students enrolled in its universities.
