Haiti Marks International Francophonie Day

Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Francophonie Day marked the closing of the Francophonie Fortnight at the Montana Hotel, combining culture, tributes, and advocacy for peace.

The celebration of the International Day of La Francophonie coincided, this Friday, March 20, with the closing of the Francophonie Fortnight activities at the Montana Hotel in Port-au-Prince. The event brought together members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of public institutions, cultural actors, as well as distinguished guests, around a shared objective: to promote cultural diversity and encourage dialogue in a national and international context marked by numerous tensions.
