In a statement sent to the newsroom, the Brazilian government said it is closely following the transition process in Haiti. “With the end of the mandate of the Transitional Presidential Council, which took place on Saturday, February 7, and the formation of the new interim government, Brazil reaffirms its support for the stabilization of Haiti,” the statement reads.
