The Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) adopted, this Monday, February 10, 2026, Resolution No. 01, reminding all Haitian magistrates of their strict obligation of reserve and political neutrality. In this resolution, the CSPJ relies notably on the 1987 Haitian Constitution, the law establishing the Superior Council of the Judiciary, the Statute of the Judiciary, as well as the Magistrate’s Code of Ethics.
