The Federal Republic of Germany is contributing financially to the Gang Suppression Force (GSF). According to a statement from its embassy in Port-au-Prince, Germany has allocated 35 million dollars in support of this force authorized by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2793 and set to be deployed in Haiti in 2026. “This funding is provided through the United Nations Trust Fund, to which Germany has already contributed a total of 46 million dollars in support of Haiti,” the German Embassy’s statement specifies.
