The day after compas was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Pradel Henriquez, former Minister of Culture and Communication, was a guest on the program Panel Magik. The occasion allowed him to retrace the stages of a process initiated several years ago and to clarify a central point that is often misunderstood: it is not compas direct that was recognized, but rather the “compas of Haiti.”
