U.S. Imposes Sanctions on Haitian Presidential Advisor Fritz Alphonse Jean

The U.S. government has imposed visa restrictions on Fritz Alphonse Jean, a member of Haiti’s Transitional Presidential Council, the Associated Press reported on November 25. The United States accuses Mr. Jean of supporting gangs and other criminal organizations classified as terrorist by the U.S.
