The historic house of Charlotin Marcadieu, located in the city of Dessalines, partially gave way overnight. According to information received by Le Nouvelliste, a large section of the roof collapsed, leaving behind scattered tile debris and weakened walls. On-site observations reveal wooden beams still supporting parts of the yellow-painted exterior walls, while an entire section of the structure has sunk under the weight of time.
