A leading educational institution, Nouveau Collège Bird, like many other public and private schools, was forced to abandon its campus under pressure from armed groups sowing terror in the metropolitan area. The transition began in February 2024, when the school was relocated to the campus of the Methodist Mission of Haiti in Delmas 95, on the Route de Jacquet.
