The state of the roads in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area leaves much to be desired. A simple tour of a few areas of the capital is enough to see just how dilapidated our roads are. Gaping holes, broken pavement, puddles of water, massive traffic jams: the capital’s roads are deteriorating more and more each day before the helpless eyes of motorists and the indifference of MTPTC authorities. Bourdon, Turgeau, Juvénat, Laboule, Delmas, among others, are concrete examples that testify to this state of decay.
