Spanish Ambassador Donates Humanitarian Equipment to DGPC

The Embassy of Spain in Haiti, through the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), has donated humanitarian supplies to the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC).

The handover ceremony for the humanitarian equipment was held on Monday, July 14, 2025, during a visit by the Spanish Ambassador, Marco Antonio Peñín Toledano, to the Civil Protection headquarters in Tabarre.

The donated supplies include tents of various sizes, two generators, two anthracite charcoal water filters, two bladders (flexible tanks), two 10-cubic-meter water tanks, mosquito nets, as well as basic kitchen kits and utensils, among other items.
