Over the past three days, two of Haiti’s allied countries celebrated their national holidays. Canada, on July 1st, held a ceremony at the ambassador’s residence in Péguy-Ville, and the United States of America, on July 3rd—one day ahead of the official holiday—hosted a reception at its embassy in Tabarre.
In both cases, Haitian authorities did not post any greetings on social media.
