U17 World Cup: Haiti’s Team Dominates

The Haitian Under-17 national team defeated Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with a score of five goals to zero (5-0) on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in the first match of the U17 World Cup qualifiers for Qatar 2025. This dominant performance by the young Grenadiers is a step in the right direction toward securing a spot in FIFA's global tournament.

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines squad was no match for head coach Eddy César’s protégés. Haiti triumphed with a resounding 5-0 victory. The young Grenadiers opened the scoring early in the match with a goal from Emerson Laissé in the 12th minute. Mikolaï Pierre doubled the lead in the 24th minute, making it 2-0. Just three minutes before the end of regulation time in the first half, Mikolaï Pierre struck again, securing his brace and widening the gap to 3-0.
