est Chamber of Commerce Urges CPT Reform and Condemns Security Issues

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the West (CCIO), Martine Laroche Cuvilly, spoke on Magik 9 on Friday, December 20, addressing several current issues, including the future of the Presidential Transition Council (CPT).

Asked about the three presidential advisors implicated in the Banque Nationale de Crédit (BNC) scandal, Laroche Cuvilly stated that their continued presence on the CPT hampers its effectiveness. “The three indicted individuals have no place on the CPT. They should either be replaced by other representatives from their respective sectors or lose their voting rights and seats on the Council. Their presence creates unease and disrupts the proper functioning of the Council,” she stated on the Panel Magik program.
