Artisanat en Fête: First-Time Artisans Reflect on Their Experience

The Artisanat en fête fair brings together artisans from various fields. While some have been regulars since the launch of the first edition in 2007, new artisans join the event each year, bringing their unique touch and creativity to make this fair a vibrant and colorful occasion. For the 18th edition, here’s a spotlight on artisans who stood out during their first participation.

Yoldie’s Production is a company that creates mirrors decorated with stones and seashells collected along the seashore. These works are crafted in collaboration with children from the Collège Méthodiste de Frères, explained Marie Yolène Raymond, CEO of Yoldie’s Production, who is also a craftwork teacher. However, Mrs. Raymond mentioned the difficulties in sourcing materials due to certain areas being hard to access.
