Hinche Court of Appeal Reviews Case of Journalist Néhémie Joseph’s Murder

The Hinche Court of Appeal heard the case of the murder of journalist Néhémie Joseph in Mirebalais, which occurred on the night of Thursday, October 10, 2019, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The hearing, which lasted for several hours, did not result in a decision regarding the appeal filed by the defendants in the case. The government commissioner at the Court of Appeal, Friznel Hector, along with the lawyer representing the murdered journalist, Robinson Mazarin, left the courtroom well before the hearing concluded.

Five years later, the investigation into the murder of journalist Néhémie Joseph has made little progress, despite an order issued by investigating judge Edwige Dorsainvil earlier in 2024.
