The Minister of Economy and Finance, Alfred Métellus, is urging striking employees of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) to observe a truce to ensure the continuity of public services during a period of underperformance against revenue projections.
"I have just taken office. I plan to meet with stakeholders, including management and unions, as quickly as possible. However, given the country's extraordinary crisis, I strongly encourage employees to observe a truce to maintain public services," Métellu
