A New Batch of Kenyans Arrives in Port-au-Prince

A new group of around 200 Kenyan officers arrived in Port-au-Prince late Tuesday morning, July 16.

A new group of around 200 Kenyan officers arrived in Port-au-Prince late Tuesday morning, July 16. These officers join the first contingent that arrived in the country on June 25. They are here to participate in the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSSM), authorized by UN Security Council Resolution 2699. The Kenyan officers were welcomed on the tarmac of Toussaint Louverture Airport by the Director General of the PNH, Rameau Normil, his senior staff, and the commander of the Kenyan contingent in Haiti, Inspector General Godfrey Otung
