Jean Charles Moïse: "Prime Minister Garry Conille Isn't Granted a Blank Check"

After a long silence, Jean Charles Moïse, leader of the political party Pitit Dessalines and represented in the Presidential Transition Council (CPT) by Emmanuel Vertilaire, spoke out on the political situation during an interview on Panel Magik9 on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. In this interview, Mr. Moïse applied pressure on the current Prime Minister, asserting that he has a limited timeframe to act and does not possess a blank check.

"Prime Minister Garry Conille does not hold a blank check. He must understand that there are thousands of internally displaced persons waiting to return to their homes. Up until this minute, there are no clear signals indicating the restoration of security or the resumption of economic activities," stated Jean Charles Moïse. He mentioned that for now, his party is in an observational period, but if there is no movement within the undisclosed timeframe, they may consider other options.
