Foreign Forces Requested by Ariel Henry and CPT Start Arriving in Haiti

Ariel Henry, who first requested the deployment of this foreign force to Haiti, now sees his request being fulfilled from a distance. In a letter dated October 9, 2022, to António Guterres, the UN Secretary-General, the ousted head of government had called "on behalf of the Haitian people for the active solidarity of Haiti's friendly countries capable of deploying without delay an armed international specialized force to address the humanitarian crisis, particularly by ensuring the free movement of water, fuel, food, and medi
