Foreign Forces Requested by Ariel Henry and CPT Start Arriving in Haiti

Twenty months after former Prime Minister Ariel Henry's request to the UN Secretary-General, the first elements of the Multinational Security Support Mission are beginning to arrive in Haiti. The initial contingent of 400 Kenyan police officers landed in Haiti on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. More will follow to assist in the fight against the gangs terrorizing the population.

Ariel Henry, who first requested the deployment of this foreign force to Haiti, now sees his request being fulfilled from a distance.
