New Commerce, Industry, and Tourism Minister Vows to Align State and Private Sector

The installation ceremony of the new Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, Mr. James Monazard, took place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the École hôtelière d'Haïti in Pétion-Ville. The ceremony was attended by the outgoing Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, Luz Kurta Cassandra François, the outgoing Minister of Commerce and Industry, Ricardo Saint-Jean, and the new Minister of Justice and Public Security, Mr. Carlos Hercule.

In his address, James Monazard acknowledged the weight of responsibility in holding two ministerial positions. He pledged to meet the challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
