Colombia Reiterates Support for Haiti: Education, Commerce, and Security Key Priorities

Less than a year after its reopening in Port-au-Prince, the Colombian representation is taking stock of the various actions undertaken since then. During a meeting held at the consulate in Juvénat on Thursday, April 4, with Haitian entrepreneurs, the Consul General of Colombia in Haiti, Vilma Velásquez, took the opportunity to discuss the progress made in the areas of education, commerce, and security.

Colombia's relations with Haiti revolve around three fundamental axes: education, commerce, and security, the Consul General indicated. "Regarding education, scholarships for technical fields, master's and doctoral scholarships, as well as scholarships for Spanish language learning programs, are available.
