"The theme of World Water Day 2024 was 'Water for Peace,' celebrated on March 22nd each year. This theme couldn't be more relevant for Haiti at a time when the country needs to better manage its water resources along with restoring a climate of peace. In the absence of this peace, the water issue can worsen, and the water crisis can further plunge the country into instability. In this context, Haiti must address both these problems or crises simultaneously.
