International flights to and from the United States, departing from the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince, as well as domestic flights, were all canceled on Thursday, February 29, after at least one aircraft and airport facilities were hit by automatic gunfire.
Sunrise Airways, which operates the largest number of flights from Port-au-Prince, announced that its operations would remain suspended on Friday, March 1, 2024.
