Vitelhomme Innocent, leader of the notorious "Kraze Baryè" gang, is the subject of an indictment filed in the District of Columbia and unsealed on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice. The crime boss is accused of ordering the kidnapping, in October 2022, of two American citizens in Haiti. One of the victims was killed during the incident.
