Beyond Accreditation: Haitian Medicine Faces Another Threat with Hospital Residency

In the wake of joint efforts by the Ministries of Public Health and Population, and National Education and Vocational Training to support medical faculties in the accreditation process, a period of silence has followed. Since April 25, 2023, there have been no major announcements. Three universities had skipped the last meeting of the sectoral ministries. To date, no further initiatives from the universities involved in the accreditation process have been announced.
