Republic of China (Taiwan) Celebrates 112th National Day and Urges Haitian Leaders to Unify

The diplomatic representation of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Haiti celebrated the 112th National Day of the Republic of China during a reception held at the Karibe Convention Center Hotel on October 10, 2023. The celebration was attended by Ambassador of Taiwan, Wen-Jiann KU, Minister of Defense Enold Joseph, embassy personnel, officials from the Haitian government, and several guests from the business and civil society sectors.

The Republic of China's representation in Haiti resumed the grand celebration of the National Day of the Republic of China four years after the Covid-19 health crisis. For this 112th National Day, the representation of the Republic of China organized a lavish celebration at the Karibe Convention Center Hotel on Tuesday, October 10.

During the occasion, Ambassador Wen-Jiann KU, accredited in Haiti, highlighted the challenges his country faces in the context of the post-Covid-19 recovery.
