Massacre River: OAS Calls for Dialogue Between the Two Parties

The Organisation of American States (OAS), through its General Secretariat, issued a statement on the dispute between Haiti and the Dominican Republic over the use of water from the Massacre River.

The Organisation of American States (OAS), through its General Secretariat, issued a statement on the dispute between Haiti and the Dominican Republic over the use of water from the Massacre River. In a September 26 press release, the secretariat noted that both parties have the same rights to use the river, but called on them to engage in dialogue.
