Jennyfer Limage's World Cup Journey Cut Short by Injury

Against England, central defender Jennyfer Limage, who suffered a knee injury, spent only half an hour on the field before being replaced by Ruthny Mathurin in the 30th minute. Two days later, the Haitian Soccer Federation (FHF) confirmed that the Delmas 60 native is forced to withdraw from the remainder of the competition.

"The Haitian team will have to continue its journey in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 without defender Jennyfer Limage, who exited the match against England last Saturday due to injury. Her absence remains a tough blow for coach Delépine, who will have to cope without this important piece of his lineup," stated the FHF without revealing the exact nature of the injury or the duration of Limage's unavailability for the national team, where she wears the number 3 jersey.
