Nahomie Ambroise, born in Petit-Goâve on November 13, 2003 (aged 19), was the latest Grenadière to be called up to strengthen the Haitian women's soccer squad, which has been in Perth (Australia) since July 10 to compete in the World Cup finals. This native of the town of Léogâne is currently making a name for herself in Florida (USA), having won a scholarship to Florida National University. She made her debut with the Anacaona SC team. Despite her young age, Nahomie Ambroise was promoted to captain of her beloved team. Despite her talent, Ambroise took a long time to join the Camp Nous Academy at Ranch de la Croix-des-Bouquets, where she would become a benchmark in the last line of defence.
