To assist the Haitian National Police (PNH), Canada will establish a coordination cell in the Dominican Republic. Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly, announced the establishment of a "joint security coordination cell to be led by Canada" during a ministerial meeting on Haiti's security on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
